Are you wondering where to have the best crispy yet warm waffles in town then head straight to New Chapter by The Owl’s café.

I went there for breakfast on a Saturday morning and to my surprise I found a good amount of patrons were waiting for the restaurant to open so that they can grab a seat along with some good food. The parking was quite enough and safe to park your car without being charged.

As soon as the restaurant opened we had a seat and ordered our food. The restaurant was almost packed within one hour of the opening of it.

The menu comes with a wide variety of options in waffle and all of them looks so tempting. We got settled with “Rabecca”(Rm 19) which comes with strawberries, blueberries, bananas topped with earl grey ice cream, coconut flakes, almond flakes and almond syrup. You can also add on maple syrup ,ice-cream ,berries or bananas by paying little extra as per your taste. And trust me that waffle tastes heavenly. It’s a combination of everything so perfect.

Breakfast hash” (RM 18) which means pan fried crispy potatoes, corns, mushrooms and spinach topped with two poached eggs along with spinach sauce. The taste was good but nothing special.

“Shrooms scotch eggs” (Rm 23), deep fried soft boiled egg all wrapped with grinded mushroom paste and coated in bread crumbs. It is served with mashed sweet potato and spinach sauce. Now this is something which you should must try when you are visiting any of the owl’s café in town. The taste of the simple egg wrapped in thick mushroom paste is so distinguished and unique. Thumbs up for this .

“Spicy Thai basil pasta” (Rm 18) , stir fried spaghetti with pulled chicken, mushrooms, Thai basil, garlic, chili sauce and chili flakes and a poached egg on top of it. As the name says its spicy of course but the combination of mushroom and chicken was delicious.

“Pepermint leaves” (Rm 8)

Due to the natural sunlight in the day time, the café looks so beautiful and bright. The décor is kept subtle and with a gentle touch of greens and the white and brown furniture was giving so much depth to the overall look of the café.

There is a sitting space for you to relax or your kids to play till you get a table to be served.
