Kuala Lumpur has huge options for great breakfast and brunch at every corner of the city. Mingle café was introduced to me by a Traveler friend of mine which is tucked below mingle hostel and a street next to Petaling street. Earlier Mingle café was referred to as café 55. It’s a hotspot for travelers, backpackers, and the locals as well for its variety of English breakfast and the local delight.
This cafe offers breakfast all day long and serves some great brunch as well. If you reach, there late in the morning then it will take few mins for you to decide whether to opt for a sinful breakfast or a copious brunch.
They have nice lunch sets which comes with a drink. But their yogurt smoothie bowl named your bf essence (Rm 20) is the winner in their menu which comes with a blend of homemade yogurt, crunchy oats and juicy strawberries. Those health conscious one or the instagrammies must order this colorful bowl of goodness when you visit the café.
Mademoiselle (Rm 18) a tar-tine served with scrambled egg, grilled mushroom and grilled salad is the other best option for a healthy yet delicious breakfast. The scrambled egg was so fluffy that we ordered another bowl of only scrambled egg for the little one with us.
Nasi lemak kerabu with rendang chicken (Rm 16.50) which comes with a free chrysanthemums honey lemon tea is offered as a set lunch on weekdays only
I ordered some fluffy doughnuts (RM 12) for my sugar cravings which was an absolute thumbs up. Those were little warm and fresh with desired amount of chocolate syrup topped on it.
The café gives a vintage quirky vibe with good amount of greens inside out. The old bricked wall gives a old school feeling the moment you enter it. This place is just perfect for those instagrammable pictures. The décor is classic with light soothing music to enjoy your food chatting with your loved ones. I won’t say its crowded but the tables are quite occupied in mornings on weekends but during weekdays you can enjoy mingling with your friends or just enjoy being yourself or read a book having a tea or coffee.
The healthy meals, recycled interiors and the friendly staff with a warm smile is the reason for me to visit there again or suggest you guys to have a try at Mingle café.
